Our Philanthropy

The National Philanthropy of Zeta Tau Alpha is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness and it is a cause that is very dear to our hearts. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and sadly each year 40,000 women lose the fight. While great strides have been made in finding a cure, there is still much more that needs to be done! Through out the year, Baylor ZTA puts on two events to raise money and participates in Race for the Cure and Relay for Life to further raise awareness.

Big Man on Campus

Big Man on Campus is our largest philanthropy event put on every fall. Last year’s Big Man on Campus was a huge success for only its third year of running! Our fun, servant-hearted contestants participated in events including yogurt-eating, Fraternity Wear, Pink Out Pick Up Lines, and Formal Wear competitions during the night of Big Man. The audience and judges were constantly laughing and thoroughly enjoying getting to see the personalities of each contestant really shine throughout the night. Over $5,000 was raised for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, and this year we hope to raise even more money and have just as much fun along the way!
